Simulor Software Engineer -  Expected salary range of $105,300 to $117,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package th includes bonus and 401(k).

Sr Simulor Software Engineer -  Expected salary range of $125,100 to $139,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package th includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position

Responsible for creing and modifying simulion software logic and dynamic models used a nuclear power plant in the Main Control Room Simulor, including simulor software maintenance, model minor plant modificions, and enhancements with minimal support. Functions independently and advises Constellion's Training Department on simulor technology. Coordine simulor tasks and collabore across teams as needed. Works closely with the training department, project managers, and Clean Energy Center (CEC) engineers to ensure compliance with project needs. The role is centered on the development and improvement of new and existing feures. Additionally, the role involves reviewing peers' code, advocing for standard development methodologies, and participing in an inclusive, energetic, and highly cross-functional team. Expected to work efficiently, independently, and with minimal supervision.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

• CEC Main Control Room Simulor Projects: Participe in the planning, designing, building, or managing of simulor solutions.
• Participe in planning activities for assigned CEC.
• Cree, modify, and document simulion software logic and dynamic models to meet business needs.
• Software configurion management.
• Participe in finding technology solutions by weighing advantages of technology trends, market availability of products, risks, and benefits of technology to meet business needs.
• Participe in identifying risks and issues th affect the projects.
• Provide second tier service to another simulor, as required, to backup th CEC Simulor Software Engineer with little or no assistance.
• Participes in projects for other CECs in the fleet as required.
• Engage with business partners to gher informion, analyze requirements and deliver practical, efficient and cost-effective solutions th sisfy business needs.
• Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.

Minimum Qualificions

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) or reled science with 2 years of reled experience (e.g. programming technologies) OR
• Associe's degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) or reled science with 4 years of reled experience (e.g. programming technologies)
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examinion and/or testing in accordance with position duties

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) or reled science with 5 years of reled experience (e.g. programming technologies) OR

• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examinion and/or testing in accordance with position duties
