General Summary: Excel Real Estate Management, Inc. is a property management company in Bloomington / Normal Illinois, specializing in residential and commercial properties. Our goal is to provide excellent customer service to our tenants while maintaining profitability and communication to our property owners. Good communication and attention to detail will help contribute to the success of the new hire.
Lease properties starting with the initial phone call from a prospective tenant, conduct site tours, sign and process applications and leases, prepare units for occupancy, provide customer service to tenants while maximizing profitability for the property owner, conduct move out inspections, handle tenant correspondence through the process.
Work with managing broker to develop and implement marketing strategies via social media and other marketing channels.
Maintain property awareness and knowledge of rental aspects as well as upkeep/maintenance aspects.
Prepare units for presentation prior to arrival.
Manage the day-to-day operation of rental units.
Receive maintenance requests from tenants and implement necessary steps for necessary repairs.
Resolving customer complaints quickly.
Maintain data and review management reports as stipulated.
Conduct move in inspections and ensure units are ready for occupancy for new tenants.
Transport funds to banks as required.
Assist coworkers in office as needed and as availability allows.
Follow and maintain leasing agent continuing education and upkeep of needed license.

Must have or obtain an Illinois Real Estate Leasing Agent’s license.
Attendance: This position requires the ability to work Monday - Friday and every third Saturday as well as be on call every third week. It is critical that individuals are able to work their scheduled hours on a consistent basis.

Must have finger dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example using keyboard ability within normal parameters.
Must be able to reach by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance.
