Much Like Omerta needs a serious bassist. We practice 3-4 times a week usually late at night, totaling 6 or so hours a week. We'd like to play a show or 2 every month and eventually record something. We even already own a bass and a bass amp so you don't need to haul any equipment around.

4 guys 22-26 years old.
Been playing together for over a year and a half.

Bloomington-Normal cover band formerly known as Scoobastank will be looking for a new vocalist in the near future. We are looking for people who are interested in singing modern rock such as the setlists below (these are the shows that we have been playing). We are all in our early 30's and would like about the same. We don't mind adding new songs that you want to do as well, but the focus is to get up to speed with these songs first, and then get to playing out again. We practice one night per week (Currently wednesdays, but it may be going back to thursdays) from 7:00 PM-11:00 PM. Progressive (ish) Metal band "SEVEN" seeking EXPERIENCED second guitarist. Not necessarily a "Lead" or "Rhythm" but someone capable of both.

Must have decent equipment--very low tunings are used so 7 or 8 string guitar is necessary.
The material you will be learning has already been written but creative contribution to future material and live versions of previous material is welcome and preferred.
There are no requirements besides the ability to rehearse twice a week and tour occasionally...
We are b/w the ages of 25-31...you should be somewhere near that range...

WHAT WE WANT:
-We're currently seeking a label and making nation-wide tour plans so we need someone who isn't constatnly tied down to life in Bloomington IL be it for work or family...occasional touring.
-Someone who is very tone conscious knowing the difference between a good tone and a crap tone without having to ask others.
-You should have the ability to travel for weeks at a time. Serious inquiries only.
-Stage presence!

WHAT WE DON'T WANT:
-If you're planning to move away for college/higher education somewhere distant--please don't respond.
-No addicts or alcoholics---but weed is A-OK! haha.
-No egos: unfortunately playing in a band does not make you cool...and being a good musician doesn't make you a genius.

This isn't exactly trailer-park metal so if you wear cutoff sleeveless t-shirts and listen to Black Label Society--SEVEN probably isn't the band for you.
However if you listen to Tool and at least know who Meshuggah is--you may be a good fit.
Contrary to that statement we're not really music snobs but we have certain standards.

Im a 19 year old vocalist, I have a crazy stage presence.
I have a huge range and a wide variety of styles, not just deathcore.

I have lows like whitechapel as well as gutterals. I have highs like the black dahlia murder and thy art is murder.
my mids are like august burns red. I dont sound like these vocalists I have a similar style.

I do all outhales, but I can also do inhale crickets and gutterals for a slam project if needed.
